Four Black college students are seeking love, fun, success, and friendship in the segregated Third Ward. But some aren't content with life in an unequal world, and together, they decide to make their voices heard. The four join the fight for civil rights and find the path to adulthood along the way. Set to the iconic songs of the '60s and '70s, this jukebox musical is inspired by the true story of Houston’s first sit-in that led to desegregation

We Are Proud...(2018)
Stages Repertory Theater
Choreographer/Movement Director
"When six well-intentioned actors gather to rehearse a presentation about a historical tragedy, they slip from joking comradery into conflict as they confront their own hidden fears. How do you tell a story when only one side survived to leave a record?  With surprising humor and a deep sense of empathy, We Are Proud to Present... asks fearless questions about race, history and the power of theatre."

"Panto’s madcap storytelling style breathes new life into the familiar tale of humble Cinderella, her fairy godmother, her charming prince and her hideous (and hilarious!) stepsisters. Come ready to laugh, cheer and boo along with a crazy cast of fairy tale favorites (and Buttons, of course!). Packed with zany characters, audience interaction and plenty of toe-tapping music, it’s spectacular fun for the whole family."

Madame Butterfly (2015)
Movement Supervisor for Houston Grand Opera's Madame Butterfly
"When Puccini heard the story of a young Japanese girl who sacrifices everything for a faithless U.S. Navy lieutenant, he knew he had found a winning idea for a new op*era and immediately began work on Madame Butterfly. It would become one of the most beloved operas of all time.
Puccini's score, infused with atmospheric Eastern motifs, is mesmerizing. From the passionate Act I love duet, to Butterfly's steadfast declaration of her love, "Un bel di," to the tender, anticipatory beauty of the "Humming Chorus," this is opera for the ages." Courtesy of Houston Grand Opera

It’s gonna take everything she has to save the day, but if anyone can do it, Rapunzel can! Stages continues its fresh holiday tradition for families with this playful mix of zany characters, toe-tapping pop songs, audience participation, and spectacular fun for grownups and kids alike. Add in Buttons’ evil twin and some dancing Zombies, and you have the merriest Panto in Stages’ history!"

The Passenger (2013)
Movement Director for Houston Grand Opera's The Passenger.
"En route to a new post with her husband, a German diplomat, Lisa is unnerved by the sight of a woman-another passenger-who eerily resembles Martha, one of the inmates Lisa tormented when she was an SS overseer at Auschwitz. The action of the drama takes us from the stylish gentility of a luxury liner's deck to the squalor of a death camp where cruelty, despair, and unspeakable courage are evident in equal measure. This American premiere will be one of the most important musical events of the year. "
